Built in 1865, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is one of only a handful of city-center 5 AA Red- Star hotels outside London. A world-class standard of service, comfort and luxury attracts business people and tourists alike. The rooms are individually designed and beautifully furnished. There are two restaurants: the Arkle, which has retained a Michelin star for the eighteenth consecutive year, and the award-winning La Brasserie, which serves lighter fare. The Grosvenor Spa is an exquisite haven for massage and relaxation treatments and offers a luxurious thermal suite in which to unwind. The hotel is situated in the very heart of the medieval city of Chester and is within walking distance of many of Chester’s renowned attractions. Voted “large hotel of the year” in the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2007.
