This stylish and attractive four-star
hotel is housed in a lovely 17th century
mansion located in the very
heart of St. Germain, close to the
River Seine and within easy walking
distance of the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay
and Notre-Dame and the Ile St.
Louis. Louis XV furniture, Aubusson
tapestries and a huge working
fireplace in the salon give this hotel a
grand and comfortable atmosphere.
The Café Laurent offers an opportunity
to mingle with the locals who frequent
this popular bar and café for an
apéritif before dining in one of the
many excellent restaurants in the
neighborhood. There is jazz during
the weekends and the courtyard is a
flowered oasis in the summer. Rooms
are very spacious and attractively
decorated, and some have the original
exposed beams and canopied beds;
all have large American-style, recently
renovated bathrooms.
