One of
the most beautiful houses in Scotland lies close to the Culloden
Battlefield. Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed here before being
defeated in the bloodiest battle in history between the Scots
and the English. Culloden House is built on a grand scale
with large rooms, plaster ceilings, chandeliers and generous-sized
bathrooms. Two of the most important golf courses in Scotland,
Nairn and Royal Dornoch, are located nearby; golf plays an
important part at Culloden. The house is situated at the very
center of the Highlands, and many interesting places are close
