Constructed in the 19th century, and
once home to the US Embassy, the
ABaC is now an upbeat, contemporary
hotel close to the cultural center of
the city. This chic hotel is located in an
expensive residential neighborhood of
Barcelona, and features a two Michelin-star restaurant. The ABaC restaurant
offers a truly exceptional dining
experience and attracts an interesting
crowd. There is also a luxurious
sunlit underground spa reminiscent
of Roman baths, with hammocks,
heated stones, Jacuzzi, rain showers
and stress-relieving treatments. The
ABaC Lounge is an upscale, late-night
bar where an elite crowd goes to see
and be seen, listen to live music and
sip delicious cocktails. Bedrooms
are spacious and light with large
windows and balconies looking on to
the fountain-filled garden. Bathrooms
have huge walk-in showers and
tubs and are built of beautiful white
Spanish marble.
