Located on a 16th century country estate in an idyllic landscape at the foot of the Montserrat Mountains, Can Bonastre Wine Resort offers a unique experience just thirty five minutes by car or train from Barcelona. Surrounded by vineyards and gardens, the country house offers 12 luxurious rooms, all with spectacular views. There are guided tours of the winery and vineyards, wine tasting courses, cookery courses and wine pairing workshops. There is an indoor/outdoor swimming pool adjoining the spa, which offers a wide range of treatments from Thai, Ayurveda and Shiatsu massage, to green tea, cocoa and wine essence-based therapies, facials and wraps. There is a superb restaurant that combines Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine matched with the signature wines from the thirteen different varietals grown at the vineyard. A casual bar and restaurant offers lighter fare. Private limousine service is provided for local touring or trips to downtown Barcelona.
