Joanna’s Comments

Paul Pugh, owner of Sincerely Paul, was a concierge in London for 20 years. He worked in some of the top hotels, including the Savoy, the Dorchester and the Berkeley. This experience of personal and discreet service to all types of guests, as well as an extraordinary network and database of contacts, enabled Paul to set up his own concierge and touring business in 2006. He employs excellent drivers and Blue Badge guides who can take your clients on a Royal day out in London, a magical Harry Potter tour or an exploration of secret and hidden alleyways of London! His “little black book” of contacts opens a variety of exclusive doors to royal palaces, private art collections and private gardens. Sincerely Paul’s multigenerational family programs include an array of exciting experiences, from thrilling RIB Rides to special horse riding lessons in Hyde Park. Soccer matches, sold-out theater performances and the best seats at Wimbledon and other big-ticket events are his specialty. The airport meet-and-greet service, which includes meeting your clients at the door of the plane, ensures they have a smooth arrival and departure experience. Vehicles include Mercedes sedans, vans and minibuses, which are available for airport, cruise port, station transfers and touring. Paul’s remarkable knowledge of London makes him your best contact in this most popular of cities. Whether it is help with sightseeing without waiting in line, or special private entry to unique attractions, Paul can help set up memorable experiences. He is a hands-on owner and has a great team in the office, which runs on a 24-hour basis.

Subterranean and Hidden London Tour

Full day with a Blue Badge Guide

and Separate Driver for 4 people, £1,295.00.

Ride the Mail Car:  The Post Office Railway is a one of a kind journey beneath the streets of London. Spanning 10.5 kilometers and operating 24 hours a day for 76 years the railway sped mail deliveries across the city. Jump on board the miniature train and ride beneath the historic Mount Pleasant, as the stories of the men that used to work are bought back to life. The interactive Mail Rail Exhibition, which chronicles the history of the world’s first postal service, is not to be missed.

Hidden London:  Hidden away behind the busy streets and main thoroughfares of the old city of London a secret city of narrow alleyways, timber-framed buildings and hidden courtyards exists. You will enjoy a London walk that will enable you to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the 21st century and step into this bygone world to visit places that have changed little in over a hundred years.
Tour Middle Temple:  Tour Middle Temple and lunch in the “Hall”. There is a dress requirement! A table or places at a table will be reserved for you as there will be members of the Bar dining in Hall also. This is a very special experience.  The tour will take you into Middle Temple Hall with its magnificent double-hammer beam roof was completed in 1573. Generations of royalty have all dined on their 29ft oak High Table – reputedly a gift from Elizabeth I herself. Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Francis Drake have been known to dine in Hall and it is said that the first-recorded performance of Twelfth Night took place in Hall in 1602.  The Middle Temple’s spectacular historic buildings, cobbled streets and atmospheric gas lighting and award-winning gardens, which overlook the River Thames mean it lends itself as an ideal filming location. Recent film productions at Middle Temple include The Da Vinci Code, Sherlock Holmes, Bridget Jones II and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as others.

Middle Temple boasts one of the finest Elizabethan Halls in the country. Spanned by a magnificent double-hammer beam roof built in the 1570s it remains virtually unaltered to the present day. The surrounding rooms and corridors are flanked by exquisitely carved paneling, intricate ceilings and beautiful paintings.Visit Lincoln InnLincoln’s Inn is frequently used as a location for film and television productions as well as still photography. Its varied architecture makes it especially attractive for period drama and for productions with a legal theme.

The exact origins of Lincoln’s Inn, and indeed of the other three Inns of Court, are not fully known. The extant records of Lincoln’s Inn open in 1422, the earliest of any of the Inns of Court; but a society of lawyers by that name was then already in existence. It is likely that it evolved during the late part of the fourteenth century. In contrast to many of the colleges of Oxford or Cambridge, which it resembles, there was no conscious founding or dated charter.

This includes entrance fees and lunch. The Inns of Court and Middle Temple Hall are closed at weekends.  This promotion is subject to availability and change without notice.
